Reverend Murr was born in Lebanon. During his youth years he accepted Jesus Christ as a personal savior and decided to pursue the ministry. He graduated from Mobile Baptist College and then received his Masters of Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  Rev. Murr also received his Master of Divinity from the same school.

Rev Murr, the has served the Arabic Community in Atlanta as the minister of the Arabic congregation at Briarlake since 1988. Prior to serving in Atlanta, pastor Murr, has served as pastor in New Orleans for 10 years.
